Multi-genre compilation album features a cast of talented guest artists including Skyzoo, IMAN & more Premiered on PopDust
NEW YORK CITY | March 23, 2018 – Ascending to a new level of talent, both as artist and producer, NYC’s Yarley G brings forth his latest album Vivid Echoes today. Blending hip-hop, pop, EDM, soul and R&B elements, the album displays a wide range of sounds while still feeling cohesive, thanks to Yarley G’s impeccable ear and world class engineering skills. A number of guest artists including Skyzoo, D’Wayne Reade, Angel Demone, LJ, Adrianna, IMAN, Zig Short, Cool Co. and Al-Karim all add their creative flavors to the mix, making each song distinct and memorable. PopDust premiered the full release.
“This project is the first one where everything is centered around me in the sense that I get to let you hear my soul,” reflected Yarley. “This project is a chunk of me translated to music, and I hope my messages of positivity, love (for yourself and others), forgiveness, ambition, empowerment and equality are conveyed to your ears. I found this purpose of speaking to people by transferring emotions through music.”
An immigrant from Haiti, Yarley G’s journey towards success hasn’t always been easy. Thankfully, music provided a path of inspiration for him throughout his childhood, and that creative guidance continues to this day. Growing up listening to a myriad of influences, his musical roots come full circle with the release of Vivid Echoes. “The sound you hear in this project define all aspects of me. The electronic, the hip-hop and hard drums, the dubstepping synths, the mellow spacey keys and rhodes, the smooth jazzy sax, and the orchestral string components.”
For the project, Yarley G also called upon a range of talent to collaborate. The process was tedious, but as with any great work of art, it is the smallest details that require the greatest scrutiny and Yarley’s decisions as a producer show great taste and purpose. “The recording process was about 2.5 years of late nights, joking around, laughter, excitement, happiness, heartbreaks, fatigue, depression, sadness and stress,” said Yarley. When working with each artist, Yarley put genre boundaries and limitations aside, letting the music and collaboration take the lead, for standout results on each track. Yarley G worked with UK artist IMAN on the lead single “Forget You” which came together in two days. Others tracks, such as “Would You be Mine” and “Rise” took longer, collaborating with multiple artists in the studio and remotely over the course of a few months. “None of these songs were rushed and I ensured to mark them complete only once both the artists and I were happy with the recording and the mixing. I did all the recording, mixing and the most sensitive mastering process. Audio school from many years back has really paid off, phewww!” laughed Yarley.
Ultimately, Yarley G’s Vivid Echoes is an album that seeks to unify and empower the listener through messages of love, equality, and peace. The collaborative element of the record only further enforces the message of unity and Yarley enthusiastically acknowledges the contributions made by everyone involved in the recording. “This has and will forever be a learning process and I thank all the artists, for I couldn’t do this without God and them.” Vivid Echoes is out everywhere now, including Spotify, iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Bandcamp, and all major digital retailers; full details for all formats can be found at vividechoes.com.

ABOUT YARLEY G
“There’s an infinite, creative universe inside each of us you can reach only by overcoming struggle; I call it ‘The Z-Space.’” – Yarley Geffrard, (AKA Yarley G)
Brooklyn-based composer, instrumentalist, computer scientist, and musical producer Yarley Geffrard, has discovered that inside each of us exists an unlimited potential. A place he called, ‘The Z-Space’. Yarley always reverberates with hip-hop, EDM, R&B, and soul.
Yarley G’s compositions have landed on the likes of MTV, FOX, and other television networks. His musical influences ranged from Motown and Brandy, and from Pop to Backstreet Boyz.
Yarley was raised by his mother and grandmother in Haiti, while his father worked hard until they could eventually move to the U.S.A. Yarley, later on, went to Brooklyn Technical High School where he excelled greatly both in academics and music.
By late 2008, Yarley G was actively working as ASCAP affiliated composer and publisher. He enrolled in the Institute of Audio Research in New York City in 2010 and graduated with a 4.0 GPA and a First Place Award for Best Mix and Masters. Yarley also received a BA in Computer Science with User Experience and Interface Design from Hunter College.
Yarley took a giant step a few years ago; he created his own platform Yarley G Music, with a team of artists and songwriters. As a result of this, he is in partnership with companies in the U.S., the U.K., Asia and Australia to provide music to license globally. At the moment, Yarley and his band are collaborating with D’Wayne Reade, Lord Alkarim, IMAN and the martial artist, extreme sports pro, and hip-hop artist Zig Short in support of their latest single, “Two Divine Mimosas.”
Fans should watch out later in 2018 as Yarley G Music plans the release of his compilation, a full-length LP, Vivid Echoes, which will showcase his eclectic mix of compositions over the years. Yarley always integrates technology, science, and music – “I make it all a puzzle, one put together a single piece at a time,” he explains. His mantra is: “Divide and conquer to create something no one else has.”
