Boston, MA // April 21, 2016 : This summer, punk rock trio sports. will be embarking on their first national, the ‘runs on dunkin’ tour. “It is in no way sponsored by Dunkin Donuts, if anything, we are sponsoring them, by using their sweet brown liquid to fuel our broken bodies across the countryside,” states bassist Sean Duffy. They will be linking up with Meet Me In Montauk for a few West Coast dates (ironically enough), and will be playing a hand full of east coast dates dates with Lobby Boxer, and ROMP. The boys have teamed up with college radio promotion masterminds, Crowd Control Music to hopefully lock in some exclusive radio performances between shows to further promote the tour. sports. is currently supporting their recently released 3-way split with Lions and Perspective, A Lovely Hand to Hold. The split was co-released by Broken Rim Records and Broken World Media.

Biography: sports. is a three-piece rock band from Boston, MA that blends the high energy of punk with emo inspired guitar riffs and pop hooks. After forming during the summer of 2013 the group began playing shows in and around the Boston area starting late that same year. The band self-released their debut EP We’ll Get to it Eventually in March of 2014. Since then, they’ve self-released their first full-length record, demon daze, in August of 2015. demon daze would then see a vinyl release – a first for the band – in January of 2016 via Broken Rim Records followed by a 3-way split 12-inch with Lions and Perspective, a lovely hand to hold, released via Broken Rim Record and Broken World Media in March of 2016. Recently, the band has embarked on numerous tours of the East Coast and Midwest in support of these releases. Short Bio: Emo riffs, pop hooks, punk energy, and plenty of zany antics: sports.

Extended Bio: The genesis of sports. occurred in early 2013 when guitarist/vocalist Kris Ward and drummer/vocalist John Blank met while attending Boston’s Berklee College of Music. The two began writing music together in earnest during summer of that same year, and after bringing in Sean Duffy on bass a few months later, the group would begin to hone their sound. By early 2014 the band had begun playing shows in and around the Boston area and in the Spring of that year they would self-release We’ll Get To It Eventually, their first EP, which would eventually be released to tape with the help of Philadelphia’s Sorry Girls Records. In support of that release, sports. embarked on a number of mini-tours through the North East for the remainder of that year.

While finishing school and continuing to refine their craft the band began work on their first proper full length release. The resulting work, entitled demon daze, would be released during late August of 2015. Soon after, sports. entered into a relationship with the Quincy, MA based Broken Rim Records who released demon daze on vinyl.

Since releasing demon daze the band has embarked on numerous tours of the East Coast and Midwest in support of the LP as well as the recently release 3-Way Split with Lions and Perspective, a lovely hand to hold that was co-released by Broken Rim Records and Broken World Media. As of now, sports. is preparing to embark on their first full US tour while also beginning the writing process for their next record.
