Spend the day with Jeremy Fury and Mike Abiuso as they record an entire country song to meet a tight deadline.
They have one day to deliver, can they do it?
Songwriter and performer Jeremy Fury, string player Lacy Rostak, and artist-producer Mike Abiuso were asked to ship a fully recorded, mixed, and mastered original country song in one day, and this is the final product, “Call It Home”. Follow the timeline throughout the day with the trio of professionals with this short video showing how they did it.

Jeremy (of Jeremy and the Harlequins) came to the studio at 10 am with a song to record for a client that needs a country song fully recorded and mastered by the end of the day. By lunchtime Mike and Jeremy had the scratch track, scratch vocals, and drums recorded. By 5 pm the song had the final vocals, and multiple layers of guitar, and was ready for Nashville string player Lacy Rostyak to add her recordings of viola and fiddle. The track was back to Mike Abiuso by 6 pm to mix and master. The song was shipped to the client by 7 pm and made the deadline.
