Boston, MA // March 15th 2013 – With an origin of Knoxville, TN this alternative rock trio by the name of Ramsey has left everything behind to start their full time music career in Boston, MA. They just announced their recent signing to SwitchBitch Records (3.1.13) and are releasing their debut E.P. entitled: ‘You’ve Got a Lot of Heart, Kid’ on March 15th 2013.
This genre defying 6 tracks presents a unique blend of inspiration, citing influences from Bayside to Four Year Strong.
Bio: Ramsey assembled in July of 2012 when Alex (drummer) and Chris (bassist) who were in two separate bands ended up at the venue that Nick (guitar/vocals) had booked shows at. They all hit it off, began playing music and it was none other than their first show that got the attention of musician, studio, and label owner Michael Abiuso who immediately brought them up to Boston begin working with them.
These boys recorded 5 songs for the E.P. at Earlygrayce Studios (Louisville, KY) and did an additional track at SwitchBitch Studios (Boston, MA/ Brooklyn, NY). With the March 15th release you can expect to see Ramsey on Warped Tour. They are participating in the 2013 Ernie Ball battle of the bands.
