Providence, RI // JULY 5TH, 2016 – Fresh into the foray of modern pop music, twin brothers Peter and Nathan Michel (Michel) have teamed up with Stage Right Secrets to premiere the music video for “DRIVE“, the first single from their debut EP DRIVE [LINK].
The dark, yet colorful “‘DRIVE'” is a message of embracing opportunities despite the uncertainty and risk involved,” says vocalist Peter Michel.
Equal parts energy and emotion, “DRIVE” brings us into the world of Michel’s unique take on modern pop music featuring strong, anthemic vocals and dynamic rhythms paired with an edgy visual aesthetic. Situated somewhere between our favorite summer nights and hardest decisions, the single is ripe with lyrics to dance and shout to.

Biography:
Michel is a modern pop band consisting of twin brothers, Peter Michel (vocals) and Nathan Michel (drums). Based out of Providence, RI, the Michel brothers got their start in their early teens writing and performing with friends all around their home state. In early 2014, following their departure from their longest running band and folk pop project “The Brighter Field”, the brothers decided to re-brand themselves as a pop duo writing memorable, energetic anthems and emotional ballads with a fresh, unique flare.
Spending nearly two years under a development deal with a small, local label, the brothers spent time writing, recording and learning all they could about the industry and expanded their abilities into production. Due to conflict of interest, in April 2016 Michel broke away from the label to continue on as an independent pop act and immediately began writing and recording their self-produced debut EP ‘DRIVE’ due to release in July 2016. With Peter as their frontman, and Nathan as the drummer, they are creating energetic, dreamy pop songs accompanied with a raw emotion and heart that everyone can relate with.
