ACCLAIMED J-POP ARTIST SHIHORI ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE "INVISIBLE STAIRWAY"

LOS ANGELES, CA – June 6, 2025 – Billboard charting Japanese singer and songwriter SHIHORI has announced the upcoming release of her new single “Invisible Stairway,” set to debut worldwide on June 6, 2025. The powerhouse artist, known for her work across anime, gaming, and J-pop, delivers a bold declaration of faith and courage in a song about making big decisions despite hesitations and fear of the unknown.

“Invisible Stairway” showcases SHIHORI’s ability to blend Japanese pop with American influences, featuring lyrics in English creating a distinctive cross-cultural sound.

Different from typical pop compositions, this song features an innovative structure using dramatic key changes that mimic the feeling of climbing a staircase. SHIHORI’s creativity shines through in the song’s theatrical composition—an almost musical-like experience where elements of classic horror seamlessly intertwine, crafting a vivid, story-driven world that only she could envision.

Drawing inspiration from The Fool of the Tarot, her new song symbolizes a leap of faith that only appears reckless to outside observers.

“This song is for anyone who knows they need to make a big decision, but is scared and hesitates to take action. A stairway forward exists—you just have to believe enough to take that first step.” – SHIHORI
