AMSTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS | APRIL 21, 2023 The freestyle dancer known as Fleur For Real takes her first step into the world of music by dropping her first high-energy dance-pop single, “Footwork” on all streaming platforms today.
During the filming of her reality TV show “Fleur On the Move,” which premiered in February 2023 in her home country of Holland, Fleur surprised her fans by revealing her interest in creating her own brand of dance music. In the sixth episode that aired on March 26th, we witness Fleur’s exciting musical journey that takes her from Amsterdam to the USA, where she lands in Brooklyn, NY at Behind the Curtains Media. There, she collaborates with Grammy-winning producer Lil’ Eddie, Chris Killa of Flynstonez Productions, and producer/studio owner Mike Abiuso, who hosts the session, mixes, and masters her debut single.
In the sixth episode of Fleur on the Move, we get to take a glimpse at the creative process in the studio with Lil’ Eddie, Abiuso, and Fleur herself, as they work on writing and recording “Footwork”. The song was not written specifically for Fleur, but rather with her input on the lyrics and arrangement. The entire season of Fleur on the Move will be available on YouTube in May of 2023.
Despite being only 14 years old, Fleur is a Nike athlete-ambassador who leads dance workshops and summits across the globe. She holds the distinction of being the youngest judge for battle dancing and the youngest master dance teacher, recognized worldwide for her expertise. Growing up surrounded by dance music, it comes as no surprise that she has a natural inclination towards music, just like other renowned dancers before her such as Jennifer Lopez and Paula Abdul.

Fleur Zwartkruis a.k.a. Fleur For Real is a freestyle dancer whose biggest achievement is that she’s able to make people smile. She’s able to fight inequality by living by example and standing up for kids everywhere across the globe. Dance is her passion and She lives in a perfect balance with family, school, and daily life.
Fleur has won numerous freestyle dance battles, but she’s never satisfied and is always challenging herself by competing against older and more experienced dancers from all over the world.
