Ken Aihara is a keyboardist and composer whose journey began at age 3, spanning from Japan to the world stage. A Cum Laude graduate of Berklee College of Music, Ken studied under legends like Steve Hunt (Allan Holdsworth) and Jim Beard (Steely Dan) after earning top honors at Osaka University of Art.

Beyond his virtuosic keyboard skills, Ken is a complete sonic architect—composer, producer, sound designer, and mixing master—now making his mark in New York alongside the city’s elite musicians.

Praised by JazzTrail for his “captivating, energetically charged blend of influences.” Blending jazz fusion, progressive rock, and modern electronic aesthetics, his music is defined by complex rhythmic structures, cinematic textures, and emotionally immersive narratives.

His solo albums Multiverse and Circumsteller feature collaborations with internationally acclaimed artists, including Bob Lanzetti (Snarky Puppy), Evan Marien, and world-renowned drummer Virgil Donati, as well as progressive icon Anika Nilles.

Beyond his solo work, Ken has contributed original music and performance to promotional films and branded content for companies such as Reason Studios, GetGood Drums, and Hertz Drums—bridging composition, sound design, and visual storytelling.
