Amanda Brecker: Finished a new single called “Holding On” and is aiming to release this winter

Thomas Hobson: We just wrapped up mastering and Tom has already released his new album In the Midst, available on bandcamp

Charles Ramsey: Up from Philly and just finished mixing, mastering and including new horn arrangements on upcoming single “Clumsy Man” out soon

Josh Benash of Kiss Kiss: Recorded live piano for a new film he’s scoring

Josh Benash wasn’t the only member of Mike’s former band Kiss Kiss to stop by the studio–Rebecca Schlappich dropped in with her fam to catch up

Film Scores

Two films scored at BTCM hosted sold out screenings in September, and the documentary “What’s Next for Jayden” has been receiving awards all summer for it’s unique perspective on Level 3 autism.

“Paul & Greg & Amelia” is a drama/thriller about a novelist struggling with writer’s block interviews his wealthy estranged college roommate and his wife, where an old secret threatens all of their safety.

“Pencils Down” is a short film/comedy about a woman who discovers her co-worker dead at the office. She must find an immediate replacement or risk losing her own job.

“What’s Next for Jayden” has been a really special documentary to be a part of. The film follows the unfiltered view of a single mother and her young son who lives with Level 3 autism.

The film has won multiple awards and critical acclaim, including the Bravo Spirit Award from the Sayville International Film Fesitval. It is also an official selection at The New York Long Island Film Festival.
